Point No Point
Stay at the Point No Point lighthouse vacation rental. Live like a lighthouse keeper for a day or a week. Lighthouse is located on Puget Sound. Lighthouse accommodation has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. Sleeps 4.
The Point No Point Lighthouse, built in 1879, is considered to be the oldest lighthouse on Puget Sound. Now, with the cooperation of the U.S. Lighthouse Society, Kitsap County Parks and the Friends of Point No Point, the historic lighthouse Keeper's home is available as a vacation rental. Come and experience the century old history this unique property has to offer by spending time as keepers of the light. However, unlike the lighthouse keepers of days gone by, you will have no bothersome lighthouse duties to attend to at all hours of the night. Rather, your half of the duplex accommodation will include a comfortable living room, formal dining area with breakfast nook, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and two twin beds), a small reading library and a full bathroom. All your linens are provided - all you have to bring is your food. There is plenty of beach for strolling and fishing and lots of marine traffic to watch from your front porch. In addition, the lighthouse is adjacent to a nature preserve ensuring guests glimpses of bald eagles and other raptors, a wide array of water fowl, seals, abundant bird life and more. The Point No Point Lighthouse is a quite and restful place that is only about 1 hour from Seattle. Interested in seeing a movie, ordering a pizza or keeping connected to the internet while you are here - no problem! So call today and make your reservation and be the first in your circle of family and friends to sleep at a lighthouse.
