About the U.S. Lighthouse Society
Stay at a Washington Lighthouse is sponsored by the United States Lighthouse Society. When you rent one of these facilities, the income is used to help maintain and preserve that light station.
The United States Lighthouse Society is headquartered in one of the keeper’s quarters at the Point No Point Lighthouse in Hansville. Their mission is to help preserve United States lighthouses and educate the public about their historical significance. Since 1985 they have donated over one million dollars to preservation organizations across the country. Their goal is to become the nation’s leading center for lighthouse education, history and preservation information. In addition, they administer the popular lighthouse passport stamp program and conduct lighthouse tours around the world. For more information visit www.uslhs.org or call 415-362-7255.
